Buck Brook Alpaca Farm
Buck Brook Alpacas strives to raise alpacas in a comfortable and environmentally friendly setting while promoting agriculture within the region and inspiring and educating customers on the benefits of farming.
The farm specializes in fiber production from its herd of Huacaya Alpacas. The herd consists of over 30 male and female alpacas of a variety of colors: black, brown, fawn, grey, and white.
The fiber produced is hypoallergenic, and the herd is fed a predominantly organic diet. The two herd sires are an award winner and a descendant of champion blood lines, both available for breeding. The farm also provides alpaca boarding.
Buck Brook Alpacas began in 2013 through the procurement of alpacas from Nature’s Reserve alpaca farm in Callicoon, NY.
Many of the animals produce award-winning fibers which are available for sale as roving and yarn. Several of our award-winning males are also available for sire.
